Man, AUDACIOUS! is in the books it’s such a blessing to have an awesome leadership team that made our first Youth retreat possible. It was a team effort!
The first night was a huge blessing and “Set a Fire” by United Pursuit totally started the theme for the retreat. We had about 13 new people that had never been to an encounter two of them had never been to a church!!! and they were all touched by God’s power! Alleluia!!! That’s what it’s all about; making an invitation and letting God handle the rest.
There was this one youth that didn’t want to go because he said he would rather spend $45 on weed…we decided to pay his ticket and he was filled and drunk with the Holy Spirit! Best $45 the ministry has ever paid :o)
Johnny our speaker for the weekend has been doing our Uth retreats for the past 12 years and he is always has a huge blessing that always allows himself to be used by God and for that I am forever grateful. Preached an awesome message on “God’s Business” and being a Climber not a Quitter for Christ!
Best Retreat…and they will only get better.

Audacious Retreat
…is only a few days away and I’m so excited about everything. This is the first Fe y Fuego retreat and I have realized something -planning a retreat is a lot like planning a wedding – dreadful! But I feel excited about what God is going to do with every single person that is going to be present at that retreat.
Usually (and I have been saying this for the last couple of weeks) we have retreats to “fire” these kids up with Jesus to “end the year right” but I have realized that these kids ARE on fire for God.
We have been doing praying evangelism and love seeing these kids put their faith to work. I’m really hoping that we get back from this retreat with such a desire to change our community that we get more in the vision of working in cell groups and expanding his kingdom!
We are really going all out for this event – can’t wait!
One of my models and mentors will be preaching at this event Johnny Touzet - God has been using him tremendously in Tijuana, Mx and all over the world and I’m so glad he is taking some time to come and to be used at our first FYE youth retreat!
